Oman Journal of Ophthalmology (OJO) is the official
publication of the Oman Ophthalmic Society. It is a peer-reviewed,
open access journal in Ophthalmology, and published three times a
year in February, June and October. The journal’s full text is
available online at www.ojoonline.org. The journal caters to the
need to practicing clinicians. Hence, articles with clinical
interest and implications are given preference. The journal does
not charge for submission, processing, publication of manuscripts,
or color reproduction of photographs.
The society or the editorial board does not accept any
responsibility for statements published in the journal. These
statements are solely attributable to the authors, and are not
necessarily indicative of the policies of the society or the
editorial board.

- To provide a platform for scientific expression of the Oman
Ophthalmic Society and the international Ophthalmic community
and to provide opportunities for free exchange of ideas and
information.
- To serve as a valuable resource for ophthalmologists,
eye-care providers including optometrists, orthoptists, other
health care professionals and research workers in all aspects of
the field of visual science.
The objects of the society are cultivation and promotion of
the study and practice of ophthalmic sciences, research and
man-power development with a view to render service to the
community and to promote social contacts among ophthalmologists
in the country.
